Founding Associate

Kayak is looking for a Founding Associate to establish a new business line within our organisation: KayakX. This is an independent venture with the ambition to grow into a leading executive search firm in the Netherlands, and within five years, across Western Europe. You will be the driving force behind this growth. You will have the freedom and responsibility to realise this vision.

Over deze functie

In this role, you will launch an executive search practice with the support of Kayak. You will have access to our infrastructure and expertise, allowing you to get started immediately. But most importantly? You will be in the lead. With your energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and sharp commercial insight, you will develop a strong strategy and lead the business towards growth.

You will be responsible for setting the course, acquiring assignments and clients, guiding candidates, and building a successful team. This requires someone who is not only commercially strong but also has the drive to excel and seize opportunities. You will work closely with founder Ruben Verkuijl, who will support you. However, you will be the one setting the direction and ultimately responsible for results and growth.

You are full of energy and have a contagiously positive attitude. You have a clear vision of what is needed for a close-knit and successful culture. Building and achieving results brings you fulfilment.

Additionally:

You have proven experience in successfully building, expanding, and/or running an executive search practice.
You are entrepreneurial: you think in terms of opportunities and have the ability to convert these into concrete results.
You have an extensive, powerful, and excellent network and possess the commercial insight to attract clients.
You have an optimistic and infectious energy with which you inspire and motivate others.
