The importance of rest, order and regularity in care: committing planners for longer periods to clients.

Last month I started at Kayak Care; a secondment agency in the healthcare sector. When you think of secondment, you probably think of short, different assignments. Three months here, three months there. At Kayak Care, it's a bit different. Classic secondment is not something we believe in. They get to know the preferences and needs of the staff, and with a more personal approach, this leads to a better staff planner. Additionally, it leads to higher satisfaction among the planners themselves. Planners often feel more engaged in their work and colleagues when they have a stable workplace and the opportunity to build a bond with colleagues.
